Just Be is an ecclectic store on South Elm Street at Hamburger Square. They sell handmade and unique items. Owner, Sara-Margaret, designs the window displays as works of art- a la Anthropologie. They have lots of gift items, especially jewelry. Another local item is Vida pour Tea; they are lovely, aromatic blends sold packaged at Just Be and by the cup at many cafes around town. The above photo shows Just Be’s Valentine’s Day window display. It was photographed Wednesday, when the snow was just starting to stick.

White, the color of fresh snow, is produced by the reflection of all wavelengths of visible light. White hearts are noticeable, reflecting against the backdrop of soft snow.
