Brotherly Love

This giant chair at the Greensboro Children’s Museum is sampled by many children who visit there. The above two boys were a little competitive, but their love for each other was evident. We don’t usually quote scripture; however, we couldn’t look at the two guys without thinking of the following quotes, “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity” (Proverbs 17:17 ESV). And then there is Psalms 133:1 (ESV), “Behold , how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity.” We sure hope the latter verse is more relevant to the relationship to the two above. We love sharing something spiritual on Sundays and, at the end of the day, all religions tell us that how we interact with each other matters. Here’s to brotherly love and respecting the inherent worth and dignity of everyone.

If you haven’t been to the children’s museum, this Friday will be First Friday and the entry fee is only $2. Stop by and see for yourself what a great resource we have in the community.
