Sunday is our day of reflection and a time to share the religions of Greensboro. The above photo was taken on Roseland Street near State Street. This representation of Buddha, sometimes known as Laughing Buddha,  is said to represent contentment. This image is seen everywhere from restaurants to temples to, well, yards around town. It has been said that rubbing his belly brings good luck. The people living in this house must be lighthearted and fun-loving and the figure in their yard is not to be confused with Gautama Buddha.
