Here is a photo of the Spear YMCA on Horse Pen Creek Road, where yesterday’s butterflies were hanging out. The Greensboro YMCA facilities are always busy and, especially in summer, group exercise classes fill quickly. Body pump seems to be trending these days. It is a group exercise class that involves using barbells and works on toning the entire body. No muscle group is neglected, or spared- depending on your perspective.

If you don’t get to an exercise class, please allow yourself a little time to get out and enjoy our community. The greenway is always a good option for nature walks and bike rides. For other entertainment, from the giant flea market at Golden Antiques in Summerfield today to the Lego Exhibit at the Alamance Art Council in Graham and everything in between, there is plenty to do.
