Today, we share a lighthearted photo from the 2012 Reenactment of the Battle of Guilford Courthouse. Just as these troops were about to go into battle, this attractive young woman came over and asked to have her photo taken with the soldiers. The man on the left dropped to his knees and proposed to the young woman. To our knowledge, she did not respond before the men headed on to battle.

Dressing for the event adds a whole new dimension to your experience. You go from taking the photographs and being an observer to being in the photographs and interacting with the reenacters in a more personal way.
