Architectural Salvage of Greensboro

Architectural Salvage, located at 300 Bellemeade Street in downtown Greensboro, is a place to purchase architectural details for your home or business. It is a non-profit project of Preservation Greensboro, Inc.  Architectural details of properties that are being demolished or renovated are brought here. Volunteer S.W.A.T. teams, more formally known as Saving Worn Architectural Treasures teams, organize the warehouse, prepare items for resale, and work in the showroom. Perhaps because of our Quaker heritage, Greensboro has promoted “reduce, reuse, recycle” long before it became a buzz-phrase. While the A.S. showroom is only open on Fridays and Saturdays, it is well worth a visit if you want to add a little history and provenance to your home.
