The latest green business in town is MERGE Green Goods at 527 South Elm Street. This woman-owned, local company bills itself as providing sustainable materials and design solutions for a greener lifestyle. They offer zero-VOC Mythic paint,  Earthtone recycled granite pavers, and more (website). MERGE is located just west of yesterday’s Arlington Street and in an area of the city that is still being renovated and rebuilt. The store view above was taken through the front window of this building in one of the most historic part of town.

Next time you want to “paint the town red,” head to MERGE and pick a hue! Even better Greensboro, let’s adopt this Cincinnati initiative where volunteers take a day and literally paint the town by rejuvenating homes in need of TLC. Maybe we could even get MERGE to help out. We’ll paint if you will!
