Happy Father’s Day! 

If you are looking for something to do with dad, consider going for a ride or taking a long walk. Go find places from his or your childhood. You could ride and look at the old-time ways in rural Guilford County. The North Carolina countryside is quickly disappearing, especially around Greensboro. However, here we see a country church at the corner of Pleasant Ridge and Carlson Dairy Road. Hopewell Wesleyan Church is over 100 years old. In the front is a cemetery and to the right a majestic old oak tree. Hopewell Wesleyan struggles with membership as so many people are seeking out the mega-churches.
