Dodging thunderstorms and chasing rainbows about sums up the week in Greensboro. The air gets so hot and steamy that you think you can’t stand it, then the skies open up and relief comes in the form of rain. The sun comes back out and the rainbows appear. The other day, on Bryan Blvd., I saw a double rainbow; one of the rainbows began on one side of the road and arched to the other.
The above photo was taken from the parking lot of Carolyn Allen Park, just behind Kernodle Middle School. On dry days, people are playing Ultimate Frisbee on this field. Happy Skywatch Friday where hundreds of people share a little slice of the sky above their city.
