For the Love of Family

Entering this Mother’s Day weekend, we decided to post this father/son photo because one of the greatest gifts a mother can receive is having someone to share in the raising of a child. The photo was taken in Center City Park last weekend where dads were as visible as moms.

In addition to the giggling child, you can just barely see Nathanel Greene peeking from behind the trees at the toddler’s toes. The painting (by Eric Beerbower) is of the 18th century general for whom Greensboro was named. Maybe the child in the picture will grow up to be a 21st century leader. For sure, his parents are raising him as if he will be!

The SKY (watch Friday) is the limit as far as we are concerned!!!
