Religious institutions worldwide work hard to help children understand their beliefs and traditions. To that end, Christ United Methodist Church in Greensboro hosts Breakfast with Mary and Joseph. Each December, the nativity scene is set up. Family members don costumes and pose for pictures with the Holy Family. Many families use these photos as their Christmas cards. Here we see a few angels and a small shepherd with a very large staff, in between photo sessions! 

At this event, children eat a continental breakfast, listen to the Christmas story, and make religious crafts. No Santa here!… Please notice the Moravian star, representing as the Star of Bethlehem. Breakfast with Mary and Joseph took place yesterday, so, if you are interested, you’ll need to plan ahead for next year.  In the meantime, we wish you a Happy Sacred Sunday.
