We have been to the Marshall Muse Gallery several times and each time, we are more and more impressed with what we see. This gallery is so much more than a place to buy and sell art. As Tracey refers explains, it is “a hub for creative programming”. There are as many as 60 events happening there each week: Yoga classes, art lessons, flower arranging classes, First Friday events, artists receptions, and so much more.

Tracey, a Northwest High School graduate, also attended Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD); however, a volleyball injury brought her back to Greensboro and ultimately earning an art degree at UNCG. You may recognize Tracey from the gallery she had on Eugene Street, across from what is now First National Bank Field (The Grasshopper Stadium). It has been 17 years since that gallery closed and Marshall Muse opened. During that time, Tracey raised her three daughters and kept making and selling paintings, as well as teaching art. The Marshall Muse Gallery will celebrate its first anniversary in October and we are confident it will be there for a very long time.

The gallery is located at 314 N. Church Street in a 9,000+ sq. ft. house. This Tudor-style home was built in 1914 for the King family. We encourage to go see this lovely space. There is plenty of parking beside the house and plenty to see and do! As evidence of its success, we asked Tracey what her one wish for the gallery would be and she replied, “More space”!
