If you are looking for a summer activity before school starts, attending a Greensboro Grasshoppers game is a great choice. We had a chance to attend a game on Wednesday, between the Grasshoppers and the Winston Salem Dash. We enjoyed sitting in section 109, behind home base. We were part of about 100 people who were able to attend, thanks to a block of tickets secured by the bycicling community in Greensboro. The event became a great social event for local cyclists. The only disappointment of the evening for Grasshopper fans was The Dash winning with a score of 7-2.

There are home games Friday-Sunday against The Dash; before the Grasshoppers go on the road. After Sunday, August 16th, their next home game will be August 25th. If it has been a while since you’ve attended a baseball game downtown, specifically before 2019, be prepared; the view has changed. Can you believe it has already been 21 years since the stadium opened? Children born in that year (2005) are now legally adults!

The theme of tonight’s game is Jurassic Ballpark and there will be fireworks after the game. Hope you are able to attend.
