BORO Sessions

The BORO Sessions, a singer/songwriter event, is held the second Sunday of each month; from 4:00 pm- 5:30 at Scuppernong Books on Elm Street. The post-COVID iteration of the music event started in 2022 by Doug Baker, Michael E. Parris, and Emily Stewart. As you can see from the above photo, the back half of the bookstore was full of people who love original music.

Yesterday afternoon was a very special edition of the BORO Sessions. It was the 50th. The two guests were (from left to right) Jeff Wall and Billie Feather. Jeff, Billie, and Doug took turns telling a back story about the inspiration for writing their song and then they sang.

Greensboro is so lucky to have such a robust live music scent. The next session will be September 13th at Scuppernong. Mark your calendar, if you are interested in attending. The event is free and open to the public.

Happy Monday!
