The Greensboro History Museum has a lovely display about the Greater Greensboro Open from the 1938 beginning, until the time it got rebranded as the Wyndham. In the center are the yellow and green polyster leisure suits worn by Greater Greensboro Open (GGO) Tournament Chair Richard Sneed and his wife Janet. These suits are part of the cleverly titled exhibit: “Fore-Play! A History of the Greater Greensboro Open.” They wore the suits during the 1978 GGO.

Today, the Wyndham Championship will be in full swing. As of Friday afternoon, Beau Hossler remained in the lead. Let’s see what today brings.
