Greensboro is a big golfing community. Golf tournaments bring tremendous economic and social value to our community. It is estimated that this week’s Wyndham Tournament will attract upwards of 100,000 visitors with a $50 million dollar economic impact.*

If you were at the Sedgefield Country Club yesterday, you saw crowds starting to grow at the Day 1 of the pro tournament. Thursday’s opening round concluded with 31-year-old, California native Beau Hossler leading with 9-under par.

Many local restaurants help welcome the Wyndham Tournament community throughout the week. The crowd was energetic and welcoming, while their lively, perfectly curated music kept guests dancing, mingling, and enjoying the evening.
