Yesterday, it finally rained in Greensboro. For the first half of May, only about 1/2 inch of rain was reported. However, over the next week, we could get downpours with an anticipated 2-5 inches. The above photo was taken last night at Hamburger Square- the corner of South Elm and McGee Streets.

Downtown was pretty quiet for a Thursday night. As we drove along, there was some vehicle traffic, but most businesses were pretty quiet. Let’s all head downtown and have some fun this weekend. Friday-Sunday, the Winston-Salem Dash will be playing the Greensboro Grasshoppers at our Stadium. See HERE for details. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:00 pm and fireworks after the game. There are several food options near the stadium. Of course there are hotdogs at the game. Have fun, whatever you decide to do.
