On Monday evening, while we were at Kathleen Clay Edwards Family Branch of Greensboro, we had a chance to walk in the adjacent Price Park. There is already a meadow of daisies in bloom. We were inspired by Leigh Ann Henion’s talk that evening, we were wondering what a field of daisies would look like by the light of the moon. We were also reminded of how important it is to be good stewards of our public lands.
If you decide to visit Price Park, or the library there, you can also recycle glass as well as styrofoam. Reusing what we have, reducing what we consume (especially screen time and the use of unnecessary lights at home), recycling and donating things that still have life in them that we no longer need are good practices to help conserve resources for future generations. As we edge closer to Memorial Day Weekend, we hope you will have the opportunity to visit some public green space or a library or two.
Happy Wednesday!
