Along South Elm

Here is another photo from May 2nd, when the firemen were called to the 300 block of South Elm Street. It was our understanding there were concerns about a possible fire in the Kress Building. As we were going through our camera roll, we are struck by how lovely Elm Street looks with the trees leafing out against the blue sky.

Having a main street with much the same profile as it had a century ago is pretty special, and would be perfect for a movie set. Above, you can see outdoor seating for Crafted on the left. Increasingly, restaurants are offering outdoor seating downtown. This weekend should be perfect for spending time downtown.

Happy Thursday!
