A Mobile Healthmobile… You never know what you are going to find when walking around on a college campus. This is an initiative of the UNCG School of Nursing. The mobile unit provides free, accessible healthcare to underserved communities. It is also a clinical training site for nursing students. This verhicle was made possible due to funding from a grant in 2022 and the ribbon cutting was August 12, 2023. making it almost three years old.

Increasing, colleges and universities are placing emphasis on clinical training and community-based outreach, above and beyond what is required to be credentialed. These hands-on experiences make graduates much more competitive in the job market. You don’t necessarily need to be on campus to see this mobile health mobile. As a matter of fact, you are more like to see it out-and-about elsewhere.* Greensboro is so blessed to have so many institutions of higher education in the community.
