Yesterday, we were visiting a friend at Brookdale Senior Living on Skeet Club Road, just past Highway 68. Lucas, who may actually still be in high school, was there singing for the residents. He has a Johnny Cash, booming-bass voice. As a matter of fact, he sang a lot of Johnny Cash covers. His rendition of “Ring of Fire” was about as close to the Johnny Cash version as we’ve heard. Josh seems to love singing those older country songs and the audience really seemed to enjoy them.

Lucas has a good stage presence and he interacted with the audience between songs. The afternoon concert was great. It is always nice for older folks to be in the presence of the younger generation. Our only regret was nobody seemed to know his last name and we had to leave before the end of the concert. If you know Lucas, suggest that he have a sign with his name and contact information posted near where he is performing. Thank you, Lucas, for bring joy to the seniors yesterday.
