Greensboro’s high schools have entered prom season. The Early and Middle Colleges gathered at the Meridan Convention Center last night to celebrate, for some, the end of the school year; for others, the time to start preparing for college. Students look so grown up today. From head to toe, so much preparation and emotion goes into making the prom night perfect.

The Meridian Convention Center, at 312 Meadowview Road, is a 45,000 sq. ft. convention center and banquet space. The prom space was very well appointed. There was space for dancing, photos, food, and socializing. Students were having fun. Prom today is very different from decades past. Today, teens go with dates, alone, and with friend groups, making the evening feel so inclusive. If you know a teen preparing for prom, help make it special for them. Piedmont Hall of the Greensboro Coliseum and Summerfield Farms are a couple of other venues that will be used this year.
