December is so full of bright, bright colors and decorations; today is a good day to reset our palates and enjoy a photo of nature. Yesterday, we walked one of the Lake Higgins trails and it was crowded, a good crowded. There were bicyclists, people walking their dogs, runners, and others just out for a walk. The weather was beautiful, inching towards 70º and clear. What a delightful way to spend time with family and friends in Greensboro.
This is the trail we were on yesterday. The City of Greensboro Parks and Recreation manages the Lake Higgins trails. Another group that works to connect the trails is the Piedmont Land Conservancy. Read HERE to learn more about their trails in the Summerfield area. We are so lucky to have access to these areas to connect us to nature. Head out for a walk if you get a chance.
Happy Friday!
