Recycles is a community-oriented bicycle shop located in College Hill at 908 Spring Garden Street. Has been owner/rider operated since 2005. It was first owned by the well-loved, Greensboro native cyclist Merritt White. Merritt passed away in August after a lengthy illness.

Jackson Lee, a lead mechanic and co-owner is the new owner of Recycles. Lee continues to operate the shop focusing on building community and providing quality service. Recycles repairs and customizes bicycles to meet the needs of the owner. With a used book store, a bike shop, a comic store, a bar, a convenience store, The Church of the Covenant, and the photography studio of VanderVeen Photographers, this little corner of Spring Garden at South Mendenhall is really developing a sense of character. It would be wonderful to get a coffee shop back. Ride your bike to Recycles and check out the space.
