The corner of Walker & Elam is hopping on weekends. Early evening, the area is very walkable. Last night, the window at Wahoo’s (2120 Walker) caught our attention. What on earth is Cransgiving? We’re thinking it is a nod at musician Casey Cranford who will be playing music there on 11/26 for the the 7th year of the event.

According to their Instagram page (@unclejohnsbone), Uncle John’s Bone is a talent agency that manages, represents, and writes. They bill themselves as being an ally of “all things live music.” They are the ones pulling together the event. If you like local bars with character, head to Wahoo’s and learn more about the event. If you like taking Edward Hopper-esque photos, this is a great place to start.
