The other day we were walking along South Elm Street at McGee and got a chuckle out of that yellow grate with the red dots. It almost looks like a square pizza slice. We find the ehe early evening view so lovely. While downtown wasn’t very busy, it was charming.

The South Elm/McGee corner is so nice now, with all of the work Natty Greene’s has done with the lot beside their building, Little Brother Brewing, and the Just Be gift store. The retail stores, eating establishments, and “watering holes” are anxiously awaiting the holiday shoppers. Make sure to include some downtown Greensboro time in your schedule over the next month. The Festival of Lights is three Fridays away.
