Remember to Vote: Tue, November 4th

Remember to vote tomorrow. Even though the ballot is short and for local elections, voting is our civic duty and is always important. It is a lot easier to make our voices heard by politicians in our local community. As an example, once, we had a passport situation, and thanks to the Honorable Howard Coble, we were able to get it resolved in a day. He was known for being accessible to his constituents over the 30 years of service to the community. Senator Kay Hagan served in the North Carolina Senate and the U.S. Senate. She was known for her work in education. Both lived in Greensboro and served their constituents tirelessly, regardless of political party.

The above photo was taken during early voting at the Bur Mil Clubhouse in Owl’s Roost off of North Battleground. The polls were not crowded. You will need to show an ID; see HERE for information regarding this matter. See HERE for local polling places. Check on your neighbors and see if they need a ride to the polls. That is the North Carolina way.

Happy Monday!
