Alamance Presbyterian Church on Presbyterian Church Road.

We arrived in the evening, after the sun had set and the fog had rolled in. We were alone in the cemetery and the fog was rolling in. The view from the cemetery is nothing but rolling hills and greenery. The scene was so serene and really felt as if the area had not changed over the 2 1/2+centuries As we turned around and looked at the church, we realized that it has changed significantly. This is the 5th iteration of the church and it is huge. HERE is a very interesting and robust history of the church. They are an extremely active congregation and do so much for the community that focuses its energy on evangelism and education. Additionally, they are active in the community. As one example, they have had a food pantry since 2010 and feed 150 families a mont. They helped bring Habitat for Humanity to Greensboro. They have sent mission teams to Mexico and Peru.

In an era where so much changes, and quickly, it is nice to know that this church not only endures, but thrives. If you get a chance, head down and visit; even better, attend a service.

Happy Sunday!
