Miki Bowls, one of Greensboro's Many Food Trucks

Miki serves açai bowls, made from just about any fruit you can think of; at least eleven fruits, granola, coconut, chia, flax, sea moss, and cacao nibs. They also serve smoothies and juices. They do catering and special events.

The food truck craze in the US began in 2008, with the economic downturn, a viable option to brick and mortar. The rise of social media has made advertising and promoting food trucks easier. With a tank full of gas and good tires, a food truck can get to their target customers. With the click of a button, customers  can find out their truck’s favorite schedule. Some food trucks have their own social media followings.

The next big food truck event for downtown Greensboro will be the North Carolina Folk Festival (Friday, September 12- Sunday, September 14, 2025). Likely, the Food Truck Festival downtown (May 2026) will return.   Do you have a favorite food truck? If you are interested in opening a food truck in Greensboro, these are the regulations (see HERE).

Happy Tuesday!
