Greensboro doesn’t see as much of Betty these days, as you may already know, the Cones have a blueberry farm in eastern North Carolina, Cone’s Folly. Their yield is about 10 pounds of berries per bush (and they have lost of bushes). In North Carolina, peak season is May and June. Likely, Betty will be in Pender County involved with getting the blueberries harvested. We are lucky to get her back in Greensboro when we can. She continues to inspire so many of us.
