The UNCG School of Dance, part of the College of Visual and Performing Arts,  is located across the street.  That building opened in 1925 and was originally called The Physical Education Building. At one point, it was The Rosenthal Gymnasium and Rosenthal Annex. Today, the building is part of the Coleman Building. You don’t have to be part of a dance team or college program to take your shoes off, feel the earth, and dance to your heart’s content.
