Yesterday afternoon, the weather was lovely in Greensboro. It felt like a sunny spring day.The above photo was taken on Walker Avenue across the street from Walkers Bar. So, you can say it is a photo of walkers on Walker in front of Walkers. The Lindley Park area is so lively, especially after about 4:00 pm and on the weekend. The corner of Walker and Elam has changed significantly over the decades; however it has always been been dynamic. While the A&P and the drugstore are gone, Bestway is a thriving grocery store and suds and duds has long since replaced the drug store.*

Something about this photo feels like it should be set to music; perhaps something percussive like Henry Mancini’s Pink Panther.
