The Ethiopian Orthodox Church is located on Cedrow Drive in High Point. However, Ethiopian Orthodox Christians throughout Guilford County attend services here. According to the African Services Coalition, there are between 250-300 Ethiopians in the Guilford County.

Christianity became established in Ethiopia in the 4th century. The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo  Christian Church is one of the few pre-Colonial Cristian churches in sub-sarahan Africa. Worldwide, the Ethiopian Orthodox Church has a membership of about 36 million. We’re not sure how members the church has in Guilford County, but this little white house of Worship looks well cared for in its sparkly white fence and building.
