During out urban exploring of Greensboro yesterday, we stumbled upon Chandler Foods, Inc. Located at 2727 Immanuel Road, Chandler Foods has been bringing barbecue, chili, and kettle products to Greensboro (and beyond) since 1955. Sixty-five years ago, John and Edith Chandler developed a barbecue recipe and, as you likely know, the people of Greensboro, High Point, and all of North Carolina, love their BBQ. Chandler Foods has expanded their products, and their building over the years. They now have distributors all along the east coast and into the midwest, extending to Michigan and Texas.

The reflection of the clouds in the window is especially beautiful, as is the landscaping. Next time you are on Gate City Boulevard, near Florida Street, head over and check out Chandler Foods. According to their website, they are involved in the community by supporting Greensboro Urban Ministry and they give scholarships through Future Business Leaders of America. How wonderful that a Greensboro business is doing so well and that it continues to remain in Greensboro!
