Reading a good book is such a good way to spend time over the summer. McKay’s Used Books, formerly Edward McKay’s, is open from 10 am- 8pm. If you do not want to come in, they are offering themed bundles curbside. How fun! Wonder what they would say if you were really creative in your request. The Battleground Avenue location offers over 10,000 sq. feet filled with books, DVDs, books on tape, video games, action figures, and more. Their Facebook page is a lot of fun.

This vista from Mill Street just seemed to jump out at us. The stark, almost-monochromatic layers are eye catching; the organic, golden-green grass, the black and white angular buildings, and the sunny blue sky all stack up to providing a scene that would be hard to guess is Greensboro. If we ever published a book about Greensboro, this one would make the cut!
