There is a lot going on in today’s post, and a lot going on in downtown Greensboro. The photo features the northeast corner of North Elm Street and East Lindsay; evidence that construction is well underway on the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts. A billboard in the front right shows what the center will look like upon completion. It shows that the limestone and glass facade with the outdoor terrace and patio. It will flow nicely into nearby LeBauer Park.

As beautiful as the facility will be, performing arts enthusiasts are equally excited about the complex electro-acoustic sound system (more, here). The projected completion date is March 2020. If you are in town this weekend, drive downtown and have a look for yourself.
