We’ll show one more day of Revolution Mill this week. The above photo shows the bridge on the south side of the mill complex. If you look on the round, brick stack in the middle, you see the letters that spell “REVOLUTION.” The above visitors have just enjoyed a meal at Natty Greene’s restaurant on site. It is called the Kitchen + Market. Their restaurant has indoor as well as outdoor seating and it is so relaxing on a warm summer night to sit out side as the sun is setting.
The above guests are looking down at the water where ducks and geese are swimming. The developers and the community have worked very hard to reclaim the stream, North Buffalo Creek, flowing through the area. The flora at the creek is attracting more fauna. We’re betting fish and frogs are returning, too. Additionally, a greenway is being built along the creek. If you want more information on the project, read Susan Ladd’s article, here.
