Fall Activities

October and November are great months for fall activities. Churches, schools, and other organizations hold fall festivals and bazars, sell Brunswick stew, have homecomings, and other events to bring people together. The above photo, taken last month at the Liberty Antiques Festival, reminds us of fall. The orange and rust colors in the cornucopia of fruit and the woman clutching a sweater evoke thoughts of the autumn season.

The woman in the background is drinking a large sweet tea from Bojangles, situating this photo in the south. Seeing the beautiful lighting, cast by the sun, makes us want to spend as much time as possible outside. Before you know it, winter will be here and finding these little slices of brightness can be hard to come by. Additionally, daylight saving time will end on November 5th, so, we have less than two weeks until, not only will the days be getting shorter, sunset will come an hour earlier. Let’s all get out, sip a little tea, and walk Greensboro’s sidewalks and trails.
