Colfax Baptist Church is located along West Market Street in Colfax, just beyond the elementary school. The architecture is rather iconic for southern churches: Brick, small front stoop, white steeple with a cross on top, large parking lot, and mature trees. The church is close to Kernersville. In recent history, it was very rural; however, over the last few years the area has really been built up.

The church is also just down the road from the Carolina Field of Honor at Triad Park. If you are local and looking for a fun Sunday drive, driving from Greensboro to Kernersville on Market Street (and back) is a good one. Pack a picnic lunch and head west. If you see anyone from Colfax Baptist, encourage them to archive some of their church history on the Internet. We couldn’t find anything.
