The blocks on Spring Garden Street by Chapman Street really have some fun destination businesses. The above photo features one of those establishments, Adelaide’s Vintage Home and Garden Store. As you can see, Adelaide has decorated for the holidays. If you stop by, you can enjoy the winter wonderland. She offers a wide range of items from vintage, Christmas Golden Books for children to “ugly” Christmas sweaters to soy candles to handmade jewelry to painted furniture. Best of all, you have a proprietor on site who makes the shopping experience seem more like you are visiting a friend’s house than in a retail space. 

Greensboro is so lucky to have so many local businesses with owners on site.  There are too many to mention here, but if you follow Greensboro Daily Photo, you know we’ve featured many of these businesses and the women behind them.
