This has been a challenging week in the United States. Flags are at half staff until Tuesday, in honor of the victims in Dallas, Texas. There have been too many killings this week. As we were reflecting on very grim news, the above rainbow appeared over the railroad tracks in downtown Greensboro this past Thursday night. The sun was setting in the west and this circle of color appeared to the southeast of downtown. 

We usually try to post something spiritual on Sundays: A church, synagogue, temple, or a peaceful photo from nature. However, today, we thought the rainbow would be appropriate. It takes rain and sun working together to make a rainbow. This week’s news has been full of rain. Perhaps Americans will find a way to work together, sun will radiate from our souls, and we will all bathe in rainbows- regardless of our vantage point.
