Country Park, between the Greensboro Science Center and Spencer Love Tennis Facility, is extremely popular on the weekends. In the above photo, we see some dog lovers en route to Bark Park. The dogs on the photo were on leashes; however, when they arrive at the Bark Park at the top of the hill, there is a fence and they are allowed to be off-leash. The official name for the park is “Stephen M. Hussey Bark Park at Country Park.” Stephen M. Hussey was one of the fundraising committee’s founding members and one of the reasons the park exists today. Bark Park was established in 2003. It is hard to believe that it has been around for thirteen years.
