This is what “almost spring” looks like in a college town. This coed on roller blades was zooming down North Elm Street with a friend this past weekend. We could only photograph one at a time as they were not skating that close together. Tis the season for running shorts, sunglasses, and a fast way to get from point A to point B. The Greensboro area has 2 universities, 3 colleges, and a community college with at least 3 campuses. That is a lot of higher education and a lot of students coming off of spring break, enjoying the nice weather, and trying their hardest to stay focused for the next month or so.

Fossil fuel-less modes of transportation can be great; however, they can also be dangerous. As all of our students roll into spring, we’re wishing them a strong finish and being mindful of their surroundings- good advice for all of us! Happy day before spring, everyone! Keep spring fever at bay.
