Today, we’re featuring Hannah at Gaia Conceptions in Greensboro who is the Executive Assistant and manager of the boutique. Gaia makes comfortable, unstructured clothing like Hannah is modeling. They take the clothing from concept to completion and make it right here in Greensboro. Sustainability and versatility are the goals for clothing line. Hannah not only works at NOMAD in Westerwood, she also oversees their off site sales, like at festivals. For example, she will be at the Lake Eden Arts Festival (LEAF) this fall. On location in Black Mountain, NC, Hannah will introduce the line to amazing performers and festival-goers.
If you get a chance, stop by NOMAD and introduce yourself to Hannah. She loves talking about the clothing line, the company’s committment to local, organic fabric, and so much more. She also has one of the most colorful tattoos we’ve seen. Those sunflowers are even more vibrant in person. Hannah is civic minded with a real sense of community, local and global.* This younger generation of artists in Greensboro is special.
*Strauss and Howe refer to these as traits of the Millenial generation (reference).
