Hilltop Road forms the northeast border of the Adams Farm neighborhood. Located on Hilltop Road is Gate City Baptist Church. Greensboro is known as the Gate City from the days when we had so many trains coming through Greensboro; it was as if we were the gateway to the world. Likely, we could fill a year of Sundays with Gate City “somethings” around town.*  As for today, we’re featuring the one and only Gate City Baptist Church in Greensboro. 

Gate City Baptist Church is a large, dynamic church with an active congregation. Today’s photo is a companion posting to Wednesday’s featuring of a home in Adams Farm.
