The Proximity Hotel is located at 704 Green Valley Road, just down from the Merrill Lynch building posted yesterday. As seen in the above photo, the Proximity has several acres of property between it and Benjamin Parkway. It is a stone’s throw from Friendly Center. This space would be perfect for a giant festival on a warm summer day. Likely, there are plans to build on these lots. For now, we enjoy standing there and taking photos of the sky without the distraction of power lines and telephone poles. The property has its own character every season of the year.

We’ve featured the Proximity from another angle; however, we still need to go inside and share the details of this environmentally-friendly, LEED Platinum-rated hotel. The owners are doing everything they can to reduce their carbon footprint. The hotel does look beautiful with clouds behind it. We were lucky to catch the moon out, hovering above hotel last weekend.
