This photo was taken on Lawndale in the window of Affordable Scrubs where they sell everything from plain, subtle uniforms to wildly colorful ones, like the kind pediatric hygienists wear. Affordable Scrubs is advertising the community event, Dining for Friends. We were struck at how well the DIning for Friends poster to the right matches the scrubs in the window. Dining for Friends is an event where hundreds of host households around the triad serve dinner as fundraisers for the Triad Health Project. For the grand finale dessert, participants meet at the Coliseum. The event will be held on May 14th. This is the 25th anniversary and the celebratory cake-poster has 25 layers decorated to look like the previous posters. We’ve featured this event before as it is such a worthy cause. Each the poster design and the event itself seem just perfect.
