Polen Count in NC

That yellow shape that looks like a map of North Caarolina is actually pollen dust after yesterday’s rain in Greensboro. Currently, North Carolina’s tree polen is at a two decade high; with pine, cedar, birch, and oak being dominant. Next, it will be time for grass pollen.

Greensboro has so much greenery and plant life. Pollen and allergies are a gentle reminder that the land is coming back to life again. If you are able, this is such a lovely time to get outside. In the 17 years of publishing Greensboro Daily Photo, we don’t remember ever posting a pollen photo.

Happy Monday!
