At the tail end of the Really, Really Free Market, we stopped by Glenwood Together across the street and met Kai. She is a UNCG student, majoring in Geography and Film, and is from Henderson, NC. In this quick and by-chance introduction, we could tell that she is super personable and passionate about her studies. The Glenwood Together facility is so good at bringing people together and building community connections.

The center offers free coffee and WiFi, has an urban farm, an after-school program for children, free health screening, and hosts community events– and more. It had been a while since we’d been there and, for Kai, it was her first time. The Really, Really Free Market was a success and Glenwood Together, located at 1310 Glenwood Avenue, was the perfect place to duck in, warm up, eat a slice of pizza, and make a new friend.
