Recently, we were at the Greensboro Farmers Market on Yanceyville Street in the Dunleath neighborhood we featured yesterday. To our delight, the Sonker Sisters were performing. The Sonker Sisters are based out of Greensboro and got their start in 2020- the big COVID year.

All three women are instrumentalists who excel in delivering tight well-blended harmonies. They have a singer-songwriter, Americana sound. Their recent performance was exceptionally beautiful against a backdrop of fall foliage. They performed in Porchfest 2024; maybe we’ll get to hear them at Porchfest 2026. We’ll let you know if we learn of an upcoming performance. We hope you get a chance to hear them.
